Do we need another Groupon Clone?

I am not a negative person... Just realistic. As I see it, being another Groupon clone want get it. Everybody with a data base is offering daily deals now days., i.e. Google, Facebook, Livingsocial and now Amazon to name some of big ones. Get this...Facebook has more members than the total population of all but two nations in the world. Let me repeat that. (Facebook has more members than the total population of all but two nations in the world.) That is a fact! I know... start-up the Customer Advantage added a little twist to the marketing plan. So what! http://iwinuwin.thecustomeradvantage.com  As fast as the Internet is changing and the way the "Big" players with their Billions are gobbling up every new start-up with promise, where does that leave TCA? That's a retorical question I'm just thinking out loud, here.
 
John Milanoski had a great idea a year or so ago but look what has happened with the Internet in just the last six months.  You can forget your e-mails with another coupon in it. We are way past that. Now it's iphones, ipods, smartphones, etc., etc., etc. with Short Code and SMS Mobile Marketing. It is scary... or exciting... depending on your position.
